ZOO Euro Profile Deadlock 

The ZOO Euro Profile Deadlock is a deadlock case designed to deliver secure and reliable locking performance for doors fitted with euro cylinders. Engineered and tested to BS EN 12209:2003 Grade 2standards, this deadlock is ideal for internal and external doors in residential, commercial, and public building applications where robust mechanical security is required.

Design & Construction

• Lock case: 64 mm overall case size with a 44.5 mm backset or 76 mm overall case depth with a 57 mm backset, providing compatibility with standard euro cylinder installations and common door preparations.

• Deadbolt: Solid brass deadbolt providing strong, positive locking action.

• Follower: Sintered steel follower for lasting durability and smooth operation.

• Face & Strike Plates: Supplied with PVD brass-finished faceplate and strike for enhanced corrosion resistance and a premium architectural look.

• Plastic Back Box Included: Facilitates installation and supports the lock within the door construction.

• Finish: PVD brass finish — providing a rich, anti-tarnish surface suitable for both traditional and contemporary hardware schemes.

Performance & Standards

• BS EN 12209:2003 Grade 2: Confirms mechanical performance suitable for general locking requirements.

• Fire Door Compatibility: Can be used in certified fire door assemblies with the appropriate intumescent pack and fire door seals (sold separately).

Dimensions

• Case Depth: 76 mm overall.

• Backset: 57 mm from the front of the faceplate to the centre of the cylinder hole.

• Forend Size: Approximately 25 mm × 138 mm (faceplate dimensions).

• Designed for use with standard euro profile cylinders (cylinder supplied separately).
